This is the 23rd year of the Open and since its beginning we have raised over $230,000 for our local charities. This is a 4 person scramble playing best ball with handicaps in place to help balance the field in a competion for low gross and low net. There is a long drive and closest to the pin competion. Many local sponsors join in as the course is less than 2 miles from the Church and therefore many parishioners are members as well as frequent visitors to the numerous surrounding businesses. To tie it all together, almost all of the charities that we support are local, therefore keeping teh funds mostly local, thus promoting a neighbor helping neighbor feel to the entire event.
