Carry the Weight
Other Event Type for Crush FoundationFeb 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM
On February 26th, 2022, Quincy Todd and Crush Foundation will be hosting the Carry The Weight Cancer Benefit at Billy’s Ice in effort to raise funding to support the ongoing cancer fight for Trey McCoy. Trey is fighting Stage 2 Metastatic Throat Cancer, and is facing many months of devastating chemotherapy and radiation sessions in an effort to stop the spread and ultimately save his life from this horrible disease.
Trey’s fight is not only with the cancer itself, but also with the strains of the financial burden associated with these costly treatments. Currently, Trey’s insurance coverage falls $25,000 short of the funding required to afford all treatments, doctor visits, testing, and medical equipment needed to survive the very difficult year that is ahead of him.
We are in search for donations for 15 or more raffle items. The raffle items will start at a minimum of $50 in value, which will be awarded to winners throughout the event. These items can range between gift cards, event tickets, vouchers, guitars, electronics, hotel/vacation packages, etc... Any donations are greatly be appreciated.
All raffle donors will be advertised in all Carry The Weight Cancer Benefit marketing, and their logos will be proudly displayed on signage at the event. We are expecting upwards of 350 guests at the event, as well as a guest appearance from Anita La Cava Swift, the granddaughter of John Wayne, and president of the John Wayne Cancer Association.
If you are interested in donating, please click the "BECOME A SPONSOR" button above and send us an email with your contact information, name of the item you are donating, estimated value of the item, and/or the total amount for any additional monetary donation that you are able to give.
Every dollar helps in Trey’s fight. Thank you in advance for your support and donations. Together, we can make a difference.
