The CASA of DuPage County Gala is a Saturday evening fundraising event typically held in the fall of each year.  It includes a cocktail reception, plated dinner, inspirational story, info about CASA, silent/live auction, fund a need paddle raise, wine pull, dancing and/or other activities, as determined by the event committee.  The timing is 5:30 - 11:30 p.m. and is a semi-formal, cocktail, fundraising event.  The goal is to create awareness of the organization, gain new donors and volunteers who are interested in getting involved, and provide revenue to support our mission.  The CASA of DuPage County mission is to advocate for the best interests of children who have been abused, neglected, or dependent in the DuPage County court system.  This is accomplished by recruiting, training and supervising community volunteers who are appointed by the Juvenile Court Judge to be a child’s Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).  The DuPage CASA vision is that every child deserves a safe, permanent, nurturing home.
