Description

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Sacramento will host our Notte Toscana Crab Dinner. This event is dedicated to ensuring Sacramento County’s kids in foster care receive the benefit of a CASA Volunteer to support them. It will take years of concentrated, individualized CASA attention to help our most vulnerable foster youth recover from the obstacles they are facing today, so we need to match the youth on our waitlist with a CASA as soon as possible.

Please consider assisting with a product or service donation for our silent or live auction. We understand that there may be limits on what you can give. All donations are greatly appreciated, and your generosity will be recognized on social media and throughout the evening to our 400 guests.

Founded in 1991, CASA Sacramento is a private non-profit organization serving abused and neglected children currently in foster care. CASA Volunteers are trained to work with professionals to ensure that the rights and needs of our children are at the forefront of decisions being made in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. A CASA Volunteer advocates for a child in foster care’s education and health needs, and helps youth acquire the skills needed to become successful, contributing members of our community. Since its founding, CASA Sacramento volunteers have served over 4,220 children and donated over 260,000 hours of volunteer service.

CASA Sacramento and the children we protect need your support. We want to recognize your generosity and the earlier we receive a commitment, the better we can do at including you in our promotional materials.
