The 12U Lombard Lightning Baseball team from Lombard, IL, has the incredible opportunity to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime tournament in Cooperstown, New York, where baseball dreams come to life. Cooperstown isn't just a town; it's a hallowed ground for baseball enthusiasts, home to the renowned National Baseball Hall of Fame. Our young all-stars have the chance to create memories that will last a lifetime by competing in a week-long tournament alongside other teams from across the country. A week of camaraderie, sleeping in barracks with teammates, and playing the sport they love day in and day out. An experience they will never forget!

The mission of the Lombard Baseball League is to provide a safe and competitive environment for young players to learn and enjoy the game of baseball. We are committed to providing all players an experience fostering positive self-esteem, team spirit, and individual growth through personal achievement and team play. We are dedicated to teaching baseball fundamentals and life skills through good sportsmanship, leadership, positive coaching, and peer/parent communications. 

Our team has a fundraising goal of $30,000. We plan to raise the funds through general sponsorship and fundraising events – specifically our Casino Night fundraiser on February 1, 2025. We are writing to ask if your organization could donate any items, gift cards, or swag to use for our raffle baskets that will be on display at the fundraiser. All donations will be recognized on our Team's Facebook page. We know our event will be a huge hit, and any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. These boys are beyond excited about this opportunity and look forward to competing with some of the best teams from all around the country.
