Our sorority places a strong emphasis on community service and strives to make a positive impact in various areas including education, health, and social issues.

Gamma Nu Sigma alumnae chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. along with Thee Newark Greek Council(Talia Benders-CFO) will be sponsoring our annual Scholarship Casino Night & Tricky Tray fundraiser on November 01, 2025 in Kenilworth, NJ. We are asking for donations of any items that we can present as prizes to the attendees of this event. If you have items that we could add to the swag bags, we would be grateful for that as well. All items are welcome, none are too big and none are too small for our event.

All donations will go towards prizes for this event, if there are any leftover prizes we will use them at Operation Big Bookbag and our Youth Symposium. We are contacting you to request your help furthering our ability to help our communities and those in need. We appreciate your dedication to education, community service, and supporting those in need. We are excited about the opportunity to work together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

We provide various programs for women and children in surrounding communities. Our various initiatives aim to promote education and support academic achievement by ensuring that students have the necessary tools for learning. We host annually Operation Big Bookbag where we collect and distribute backpacks filled with essential school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, and other pertinent items. We facilitate an annual Youth Symposium with workshops on mental and physical health awareness, college and career readiness, financial literacy, CPR and much more. We also provide annually, monetary and electronic device scholarships to high school students who participate in our essay contest, discussing international socio-economic events.

As a thank you for your support, we ask that you provide a company logo that we may display on our website, social media and add to our program. We will also announce this throughout the event. If your items are used for any other Programs such as Operation Big Book Bag. Swim 1922 or our Youth Symposium We will also advertise your business in the same manner.
