Description
On Friday April 17, 2015 The Foundation of Birches Academy will be hosting a major fundraiser; Casino Royale; An Evening of Luck, Fun & Community. This event is to benefit the students of Birches Academy of Academics & Art, a public, tuition free, charter school. We are hoping to make this event a huge success and we are reaching out to businesses and organizations like yours to request a donation of service, product or items to be featured at this event.
Casino Royale will be an evening of professional Vegas style gaming, silent auctions, and mystery prize extravaganza. We expect over 200 guests, and will actively promote all businesses that participate. By donating, we will promote your business or organization at the event itself, as well as in pre-event email blasts, Facebook posts, in our weekly parent newsletters, on our website. For gifts valued at $100 or more, we will provide tagged and linked posts directly to your website or Facebook page.
In short, your donations will directly impact the students of Birches Academy of Academics & Art. We believe in the importance of creative and critical thinking, and use arts-integrated educational methods within all core areas of academics. Students also have music, art and foreign language classes. Our school is tuition-free to NH student in grades 1-8 (admission is by lottery). We have over 195 students representing 14 different communities in the state of New Hampshire.
All the money raised from our event Casino Royale will be used to make up the difference between the $5,498 per student per year that we receive from the state and the $13,000 per student that many traditional schools receive. All funds raised will go towards teachers’ salaries, utilities, everyday materials- everything needed to provide these students with a quality education. We need your help to ensure that our students have the extra edge to be prepared to compete and succeed in this global economy.
