This will be our 4th annual event.  The Norville Center provides a safe, homelike environment for children, ages 0-17, who have been removed from their family due to neglect or abuse.  The Norville Center (Kaufman County Children's Emergency Shelter) was the brainchild of Fern A. Norville, a school nurse, who saw a need.  The Shelter was built with private funds in 1985 and has been serving the children of Kaufman and surrounding counties ever since. The Shelter itself was based on the Norville family home.  It is one of
the only Shelters with a homelike environment.

The funds that have been raised have allowed us to update and upgrade the facility. It is after all, thirty eight years old.
