Cass Resources for Enrichment (CARE), the parent organization for Cass School District 63 in Darien, IL, supports our district's students, staff, and community by raising funds that directly impact the educational experiences of our children. Teachers apply for grants through CARE to help fund specific needs for their classrooms. To date, some of these grants have been used for the following: defraying the cost of field trips, alternative seating for students with special needs, and a musical instrument for the concert band, among many other learning tools.

I am reaching out to see if you would be willing to provide a donation for our school district's 80s Bowling Night fundraiser on December 2, 2023. As part of our evening, we intend to have a raffle table with a variety of different prizes, from passes to the Museum of Science and Industry to tickets to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to a Whole Foods gift card. Attendees may purchase tickets and place them in bins that will sit in front of each prize. If there is a specific prize that they want, they can place more tickets in that bin to increase their chance of winning.

In addition to the raffle held at the event itself, we will also post all of the raffle items online. People unable to attend may purchase raffle tickets and have just as great a chance as those who are present. Because of this, the raffle prizes will have the opportunity to be seen by over 1,600 district parents, a far greater reach than if we simply had the prizes only at the event. 

We hope that you might consider an in-kind donation, as we believe it could raise money for our organization, which is a designated 501(c)(3) support entity. We could certainly provide a donation verification form for you to submit with taxes.
