CATALYST is A Turning Point's annual fundraising event. 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to client programming. Our vision/mission is to serve as a catalyst for families to thrive by supporting them with basic needs and educational opportunities designed to equip and empower them to self-sufficiency. We serve the marginalized, at-risk, vulnerable populations within our community (homeless, low-income, single parent households, elderly, veterans, and more). Our on-going programming includes a Food Pantry, Wardrobe (clothes closet), Academy (adult program to earn high school diploma rather than GED), Guesthouse (day center offering showers, laundering facilities, hot meals, and case management services to the houseless), Community Meals (street outreach program for the houseless), and Blessings (rent/utility assistance to prevent eviction). All monies from this annual fundraiser makes an immediate and direct impact on these essential services.
