We are delighted to announce our 5th Annual Catrina Ball will be held on October 23, 2021, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Please join us as we joyfully celebrate with this year’s La Catrina - Corinna Holt Richter, and El Catrín - Ramiro Salazar, and Honorary Chairs Andi Rodriguez and James Lifshutz. Show o your dramatic black-tie costume with Calavera flair while you enjoy elegant Día de los Muertos delights and entertainment. This year’s glamorous event will entice and thrill you with elevated Mexican street food, cocktails, live entertainment, and extraordinary silent auction items. Catrina Ball 2021 will also feature a twist on tradition, honoring loved ones with a magnificent Altar in the Round. Día de los Muertos makeup and lush flower crowns will be available for purchase at the Ball. Catrina Ball 2021 promises to be the event of the year!
As our primary annual fundraiser, this year’s Catrina Ball will benefit special projects in the Texana and Genealogy collection. This notable collection preserves and makes available to the public materials which chronicle the history and development of the rich cultural heritage of San Antonio, Bexar County, and Texas.
