Cattlemen's Ball of Nebraska is a non-profit, 501c3 organization that was established to raise money for cancer research at the Fred and Pamela Buffet Cancer Center in Omaha NE, showcase rural Nebraska, and to promote beef as a part of a healthy diet. Each year over 90% of the money raised goes directly to the Buffet Cancer Center for research and the remaining 10% stays local to promote health and wellness initiatives. Since the event began in 1998, over $21 million has been donated to the Buffet Cancer Center. This year we have a goal to raise over $2 million. Every bit of this event is run by over 500 volunteers and contributions from businesses.
Every year, the Ball is held in a different location across Nebraska, allowing host communities to showcase their area of the state. This year the ball is being hosted by the Acton Family on their farm outside of Blue Springs NE over the weekend of June 6-7th.
With so much to do over 4500 people are anticipated to attend the ball. There will be a golf tournament, ranch rodeo, an art show, wine tasting, history tent, 5k run, a style show featuring cancer survivors, silent and live auctions, and of course plenty of fantastic food to enjoy. The concert on Saturday evening will top off the event.
With the event being attended by so many people as well as a silent auction that will be visible to anyone anywhere, there is plenty of opportunity to have your businesses as well as their contribution and generosity seen! We thank you for your consideration!
