To Whom It May Concern:
The Parent Teacher Organization of the Cedar Creek Elementary School in ISD 15 sponsors an annual Family Carnival. The Carnival is especially designed for children in grades K-5 and their families. Each year the Carnival has grown in size, and many families look forward to attending and volunteering at the event.
This year the Carnival takes place on Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at Cedar Creek Elementary School. A large number of the 600+ students and their families attend the event. They come primarily from the ISD 15 geographic area which includes St. Francis, Andover, Oak Grove, East Bethel, Wyoming, Bethel, Crown, Cedar, and southern part of Isanti County.
We strive to keep the cost of attending the Carnival affordable. Instead of charging admission to attend the carnival we raise money by selling raffle tickets and holding a silent auction. This is a major event for our school and, as such, the PTO seeks donations from community businesses for raffle and/or silent auction prizes. By donating an item, you will be making a tax deductible contribution that will benefit the children and families of our community.
This year we will be offering all cash prizes for our raffle drawing totaling $2000. We will be accepting cash donations that will help fund these prizes. We will also be accepting donations that will be up for sale during our silent auction. If you are able to make a donation, we just ask that the donation is valued at $25 or more and with an expiration date of at least a year. If you prefer to make a tax-deductible cash donation to use towards this event please make your check payable to Cedar Creek Elementary School PTO. In addition to our raffle drawing and silent auction we offer games and prizes throughout the event. Your business will benefit from exposure of your company's name to those who attend the event. Companies will be listed throughout the school the day of the event.
