Description

Celebrate Me Week is a transformative, week-long summer camp held on Lake Washington near Madison Lake, Minnesota, designed specifically for youth entering the 7th grade. The camp's mission is to empower adolescents by helping them navigate the challenges of early adolescence—such as peer pressure, low self-esteem, conformity, bullying, and relationships with friends and family. Through engaging activities, campers discover and celebrate their unique talents, gifts, and abilities, fostering a sense of belonging and self-worth.

Each session accommodates 112 campers (56 boys and 56 girls), ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment. The camp operates with a dedicated team of approximately 70 volunteer staff members, including counselors, directors, and support personnel, all committed to creating a meaningful experience for the campers. The program emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and equity, encouraging participants to be their authentic selves, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, cultural background, socio-economic status, geographic location, diverse abilities, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs.

Our event aims to raise essential funds to keep camper fees affordable, ensuring that every 7th grader has the opportunity to experience this life-changing camp.

Your participation will directly contribute to providing scholarships and maintaining low registration costs, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent any child from attending. Together, we can continue to empower the next generation to embrace their uniqueness and thrive.
