Gala/Party for Maternity Care CoalitionJun 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Maternity Care Coalition's (MCC) Celebrating Mothers Brunch brings together maternal and child health influencers, regional leaders in perinatal care, local and state legislators, dedicated volunteers, community members, and donors.
This year's theme, Parenting with Autonomy, will guide this celebratory and significant event as we discuss the systemic and cultural barriers families face when making choices about their health and parenting decisions.
This year, MCC is thrilled to be honoring:
Allyson Felix - Athlete, Track & Field Olympian; Founder and President & President, Saysh
The Twin Sister Docs Foundation - Drs. Delana Wardlaw and Elana McDonald
The Celebrating Mothers Brunch will take place on Saturday, June 10 from 10am - 1pm at the Millennium Ballroom at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel and will be hosted by 6abc anchor, Tamala Edwards.
The event provides opportunities for networking, and includes an inspirational program, live music, and a vibrant auction - all benefitting MCC and our mission to advance health equity for all mothers, birthing people, parents, and young children.
We are currently looking for donations to our silent auction.
The auction is one of the hallmarks of this event. Supporters enjoy browsing the silent auction and looking for unique products and experiences via our online platform and in-person at the event.
Here are some of the benefits you can expect as an auction participant:
Leading up to the event, your company will be promoted on MCC’s Facebook page (4.6K followers), MCC’s Instagram page (2.3K followers), MCC’s blog, and our online auction platform. During the event, your company information will be visible next to your item throughout the silent auction. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
MCC works at the client, community, and policy levels to address the racial and social inequities experienced by parents and their babies in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Since our founding in 1980, we have assisted nearly 150,000 families, focusing on neighborhoods with high rates of poverty, infant mortality, health disparities, and changing immigration patterns.
This critical work is made possible by many generous donors, like you! Thank you for your consideration of supporting this event and MCC.
