Description

Celebrating Second Chances is Community Lifeline's annual fundraiser and silent auction. We hold this fundraiser annually to accomplish our mission of assisting local residents in managing crises and navigating their way back to self-sufficiency. Music will be provided by the Jon Christopher Jacobs Band and several big ticket items will be included in our raffle.

The gala is held in McKinney, Texas at The Sanctuary, a beautiful venue that will hold 150-200 people.

Community Lifeline Center prides itself on being North Collin County’s premier agency
for crisis assistance as well as information and referral services. For most of us, life is a fairly even flow of obligations, punctuated by the occasional unexpected event. But for some - and it could easily be someone we know - the unexpected becomes overwhelming. Illness, separation, job loss, family crisis: these are events that makegetting from point A to point B impossible without assistance. Community Lifeline Center steps in to assist local residents in managing crises and navigating their way back to self-sufficiency. This assistance ranges from financial help—rent, utilities, food,—to credit and budget counseling, and advocacy for individuals, families, and seniors. Our focus is to help clients and families become self-supporting again as quickly as possible.

Although last year's event was significantly decreased in size due to the pandemic, the
Celebrating Second Chances event raised more than $32,000 in funds used to support
those in our community in need. We are hoping to raise even more this year.

All donations are tax-deductible. In accordance with IRS regulations, Community Lifeline
Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and your non-cash donation is tax-
deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law, provided no goods or services are
provided to you and consideration for donation.
