On the evening of October 12th, we will join together to celebrate the close of our successful and joyous 10th anniversary year—10 years of building First-Generation Success! This celebration at Glen Flora Country Club will once again serve as our primary fundraising event of the year. And—importantly--we gather the Lake County community together to recognize the success of our college graduates, while outlining our plans to multiply that success going forward.

As a community-based force for change, W2C is focused on improving the financial and cultural life of First-Generation students.  All of our programs are designed to support and nurture their journey to a four-year degree from the college or university of their choice. As of June, 2019, we will have 52 scholars successfully graduate from college – with another 47 scholars in the midst of completing their four-year degree.

And, although we are very proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our first ten years, the number of First-Generation students who could be college-bound far surpasses our current resources to support all of them. We need your help to reach more students and families. Please partner with us on this important community effort by donating for this event.
