CenterFlix Event

CenterFlix is The Center’s biennial fundraiser celebrating the accomplishments of people with disabilities. Featuring a cocktail reception, auction, raffle and inspirational films.

Proceeds benefit The Family Resource Fund

When a person is in need of financial assistance, our highly skilled coordinators seek low to no cost resources to meet the need. The Center’s Family Resource Fund is used only as a last resort when no other support is available. With 10,000 clients served year round, it is critical that we grow the Family Resource Fund. This Fund provides vital services and supports, such as: adaptive/medical equipment, dental/vision care, pharmacy/medical supplies, assistive technology, respite, summer camp, housing assistance, and help with home repairs and modifications and other services to support independence. Additionally, designated support dollars are reserved for clients with chronic conditions and frequent hospital encounters. Studies have shown that a small investment in things like transportation, medical supplies, medication, groceries, communication devices, and other care gaps can make all the difference in reducing avoidable hospital use.
