Professional jazz saxophonist Ayo Brame sets aside his national tour to perform at Centerforce’s Summer Fundraiser on August 3, 2024. The fundraiser will occur at the East Bay Community Space in Oakland at 2:00 p.m. 
 
Since 1977, Centerforce, a nonprofit organization, has provided re-entry services for adults in jail, some for up to 30 years. Once released, clients need housing, jobs, family reunification, mental health counseling, and other services to enable a smooth transition into the community. Centerforce provides intensive case management for 550+ annually, requiring considerable employee time and training. Fundraisers help pay the costs of making the Bay Area a safer place to live.  
 
The event is a two-hour concert, and we anticipate 100+ people attending from across the Bay Area. To make it even more fun, we want to include a raffle, and we hope you can donate something: tickets to a play, a museum, a movie, an amusement park, gift cards, etc. In exchange, we will recognize you in the event program, on our website, and on our social media. 
 
We would appreciate receiving the donation by July 20, 2024.  Of course, the earlier you can send it, the better, as we plan to announce the gifts as they arrive to build enthusiasm and attendance.
