On Thursday, March 29, Certified Angels will be hosting its 3^rd Annual Gala at The One & Only Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, NJ. Since its inception in 2014, Certified Angels has committed itself to serve the children of Passaic. This year’s Gala will celebrate the organization’s first year as an after-school program and honor Guillermo Garcia, Store Director of Cuellar ShopRite of Passaic/Clifton, for his unwavering support.

In September 2017, Certified Angels officially opened its doors to the community and successfully enrolled more than 60 children in its after-school program. Within just a few months, the organization has seen smiles widened and dreams become reality. Twenty young performers are dancing like no one is watching, twenty photographers are capturing life’s greatest moments, twenty future Oscar winners are reciting their favorite lines, and all 60 are provided a space where they feel loved and supported.

In order to welcome additional participants and continue to share captivating stories through the arts, this year’s Gala hopes to raise more than $20,000. Certified Angels anticipates over 200 people in attendance including community leaders and supporters.

We are also accepting Tricky Tray donations including gift baskets, merchandise, gift certificates and gift cards for goods and services. Your support ensures the continued success of the program and is instrumental in filling the void in our community’s need for a quality arts after-school program.
