On Thursday, March 28, 2019, Certified Angels will be hosting its 4^th Annual Gala at The Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, NJ. Since its inception in 2014, Certified Angels has committed itself to serve the children of Passaic. This year’s Gala will celebrate the organization’s second year as an after-school program and honor Mauro (Moe) Farallo, President of PBA Local #14, for his unwavering support.

In September 2017, Certified Angels officially opened its doors to the community and successfully enrolled more than 60 children in its after-school program. This September, Certified Angels flourished and enrolled over 100 children in the program. Fulfilling its mission, the organization has seen smiles widened and dreams become realities. Our dancers are lacing up their ballet shoes as they learn how to pirouette and leap into their most confident selves, our photographers are focusing on capturing their inspiration through a lens, and our young Picassos are learning how to brushstroke to bring their creativity to life. Most importantly, ALL are given a platform to share their stories through the arts.

Raising more than $20,000, came from the unconditional support of last year’s Gala sponsors and attendees that enabled Certified Angels to expand to open another location and welcome additional members to the program. In order to ensure our continued success and allow more children to share captivating stories through the arts, this year’s Gala hopes to raise more than $35,000 and share our dreams with 300 community leaders and supporters.
