For the first time ever, the event will be held in conjunction with the annual California ALS Research Summit and will feature a silent and live auction; gourmet dinner; special guest appearances; entertainment; presentation of the Golden West Chapter’s highest honors, the Essey Awards; along with the announcement of this years Barber ALS Research Award recipients.

Champions for Cures and Care is a celebration of the outstanding individuals and organizations whose contributions and efforts have advanced our Chapter’s mission. We recognize and honor those who, every day, fight to defeat ALS and bring help and hope to the ALS community. Our Champions include researchers, health professionals, advocates, philanthropists, caregivers, those living with ALS, and YOU.
