Description

CHAPA’s Annual Dinner is the premiere affordable housing event in Massachusetts, consistently bringing over 1,100 guests from across the state to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center for a night of celebration and reflection on the housing strides made in the last year. On June 12, 2025, we’ll celebrate our 58th Annual Dinner.

The event typically includes a short program reviewing CHAPA’s accomplishments and the collective achievements made in the affordable housing and community development field. Additionally, we hold an awards ceremony to honor 3-4 leaders for their outstanding work and commitment to housing. Throughout the night, guests mingle and network while enjoying drinks, food, and the silent auction.

The event’s diverse audience includes developers, community development corporations, housing authority tenants and staff, policymakers, service providers, local advocates, shelter providers, municipal planners, homeownership and foreclosure prevention counselors, housing finance agencies, architects, real estate attorneys, and more.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, funds raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, additional donations, and silent auction proceeds directly support CHAPA’s mission to encourage the production and preservation of housing that is affordable to low and moderate-income families and individuals and to foster diverse and sustainable communities through planning and community development.
