Description

At Cherokee Elementary School, we strive to provide students with an exceptional education. As a Scottsdale Unified Schoool, in conjunction with our community partners, Cherokee Elementary has been able to shine, a true Diamond in the Desert. We believe this is due to the longstanding support from our families. local businesses and community leaders like you.

Our fundrasier, "Cherokee, A Diamond in the Desert," will take place on April 1, 2022. This event, hosted by the Cherokee Association of Parents and Teachers (APT) is instrumental in funding the programs and the education of children in our community. The funds raised through "Cherokee, A Diamond in the Desert," will provide our students andour our community with the education, support and enrichment that they have grown to expect from our exceptional school.

The funds raised through our annual gala go directly to our teachers and our diverse student population and provide help to our hard working staff and students wth non-state funded prograns such as:

-Intervention Specialists in reading and math to work one-on-one with students who have specifc academic needs.

-Teacher Aides in all classrooms

-Enrochment of our students through our STEAN programs, which proivde creative and dynamic opportunities in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

We are writing to ask for your help in maintaining thise histroy of excellence not only in our communty, but within Arizona. It is our hope that you will participate by making an item donation for uor auction.  This is our largest fundraising event and your donation makes a direct dfference in our school.
