Cherokee's Cocktails and Cars
Gala/Party for Cherokee Association of Parents and TeachersApr 13, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Cherokee Elementary, an Arizona public school in the Scottsdale Unified School District, is one of the Top 50 schools in America, a top ranked school in Arizona by the Arizona Board of Education and has been an “A+” ranked Elementary school since 2013. Much of this is due to the funds raised by the Association of Parents and Teachers, most of which goes directly back into the classroom.
Cherokee’s APT is solely responsible for funding some of the programs that make our school so successful for our students:
- Aides in all Kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms
- Specialists in Reading, Writing and Math
- Technology updates across the campus
- Additional classroom supplies for the teachers
With support from community partners, like yourself, in 2017-18 we were able to raise more than $250,000 to benefit our students and teachers.
A majority of the money raised comes from our Spring Fundraiser, with the main focus on a Silent and Live Auction. This year’s event, “Cherokee’s Cocktails and Cars”, will be held on Saturday April 13th, 2019 at the exclusive G Collection venue in Scottsdale. The evening will include dinner, drinks, a bourbon tasting, photo booth, wheel of chance and many more surprises.
We are currently soliciting donations for the auctions and would like to ask for you to donate an item to help us raise funds for our school.
The Cherokee Association of Parents and Teachers is a 501(c)3 organization. Tax ID # 86-0610097. Your donation is tax-deductible and donation letters will be sent upon receipt.
