The Chicago Alternative Comics Expo (CAKE) is a volunteer-run non-profit organization that has worked for over a decade to bring indie small press and self published comics to the Chicago public. Our 2023 expo hosted over 150 exhibitors from all over the world, and saw an attendance of over 4,500 people.

We are in the midst of planning our 2024 August expo at the Zhou B Arts Center in Bridgeport, and are reaching out to you to help support us with a financial or in-kind donation. [reason why this organization is a good fit for CAKE and why we are excited to partner.]

All funds raised from sponsorship will go toward our show expenses. Your support allows us to keep CAKE always FREE to attendees, with table fees for exhibitors significantly lower than the cost of similar shows. 

We offer promotional consideration and tax-exemption to all our sponsors. We’re looking for Special Guest sponsors, Panel Sponsors, Program Sponsors, or for in-kind donations of raffle prizes for our Spring fundraising auction. Our deadline for sponsorship is April 30.
