We are currently in the process of planning our annual winter fundraiser - our Ugly Sweater Party. The event will be held December 7th at Rizzo’s Bar & Inn in Chicago and we are expecting over 150 guests and their dogs, dressed in their absolute best ugly sweaters.

We are looking for sponsors.  We are also looking for donations for raffle and auction prizes and 150 items for a swag bag. All proceeds from this fundraiser will provide vet care for our fosters

The Chicago French Bulldog Rescue is a local rescue dedicated to rescuing French Bulldogs from neglect, abuse, loss of family and theftFrenchies are now the most popular breed in the US and with that distinction comes a bigger need for rescue. Because demand is so high, opportunistic dog breeders are inbreeding dogs, trying to breed “exotic” colors and generally flooding the public with genetically unhealthy dogs. This is the reality now. These dogs generally have significant, very expensive health problems as a breed. Owners surrender the dogs when they can no longer afford their care, often waiting until the dog is desperately sick. In 2023 our vet bills alone were in excess of $115k!!
