Share Our Strength is a non-profit organization working to solve problems of hunger and poverty in the United States. We are actively planning for our Chicago's Taste of the Nation event happening on Thursday, June 27th, at Rockwell on the River. 100% of event proceeds go to benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in the Chicago area and across the United States. The event is a must-attend evening featuring exceptional food, craft cocktails, and delectable desserts from the city’s top culinary talents and renowned No Kid Hungry chef supporters all while raising money to end childhood hunger.

As part of the evening's festivities, we have a Giving Grove - an interactive fundraising and marketing opportunity. Individual apples are strung from trees and are available for purchase at varying price levels ($50-$500). Each apple has a corresponding prize of equal or greater value. The instant gratification of the Giving Grove makes it our most popular on-site activation! We are actively seeking Chicago-area donors for gifts for the Giving Grove. Examples of gifts include gift cards, reedemable vouchers for "experiences" and sports tickets, among other ideas.
