Description

The Science Fest was started in 2015 by Illinois Science Council (ISC), to bring science & technology to adult audiences in fun and creative ways.

This year ISC joins with the International Museum of Surgical Science to host a full day of interesting talks and hands-on demos for Science Expo Day on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the historic 4-story lakeside museum that’s filled with fascinating exhibits and artwork.

Science Expo speakers are researchers from local institutions who will give talks and answer questions on science topics of popular interest. The event is aimed at a non-scientific audience, age high-school and up, and also includes interactive science demos.

There will be:

Hands-on science demos
Access to all Museum exhibits
Social hour to mingle and chat with scientists
