On April 28, 2023, the Chicago Engineers’ Foundation (CEF) presents Speakeasy Chicago, a fundraising event to benefit programming for Chicago’s future engineers.  The mission of the Chicago Engineers’ Foundation is to encourage and empower young people to become the next generation of engineers through scholarship opportunities, outreach to educational institutions, and promoting interest in engineering careers.  Last year CEF awarded $100,000 in scholarships to Chicago students, and impacted more than 1,500 K-12 students through in-person and virtual outreach and career development activities.    

Speakeasy Chicago brings together more than 100 community members and young professionals for a fun and engaging evening at the Union League Club of Chicago.  This year’s event brings the Roaring 1920’s back…for only night only with live music and dancing, specialty food and drinks, entertainers, casino games, raffle prizes, and a premium auction.
