Description

Child Hunger Brantford (CHB) is a registered charity that was established in 2013 to support and empower children and their families through education, nutritional programs and food-based initiatives that promote life-long healthy food choices. There are many local children who do not have access to nutritious food, so that is where we come in and prepare nutritious food (lunch and snacks) to elementary school children in partnership with community partners and volunteers.

On September 17, 2023, Child Hunger Brantford is hosting a fundraising Golf Tournament at the Walter Gretzky Public Golf Course.  All event proceeds will directly fund the “Kids Lunch Club” program and/or the Lockdown Lunch Box program. Our mission is to establish a resource centre to engage the community and fulfill our mission of ending Child Hunger. This resource centre would provide the tools needed to effectively provide programs and increase our capacity to directly impact more families.

We would greatly appreciate ANY support your company or yourself can offer, whether in donation, sponsorship, or by registering a team to participate.  We welcome you and your friends to join us this September for an enjoyable day of golf.

 The 18 hole golf tournament will begin at 11:00 a.m. The fee of $150.00 per person includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, a welcome bag, and a delicious meal.  Not a golfer?  Why not join us for the meal beginning at 5:00 p.m. for $50.00. Please share any dietary restrictions at the time of registration.

To sponsor the tournament, sponsor a child, arrange pickup/drop-off of gift donations, to join for dinner or register and pay for golfer(s) contact Dawn at 519-209-5450 or email  info@childhungerbrantford.ca.  Please be sure to include your name and the names of your team members.  Payment is required by September 5, 2023.  You’ll be able to enjoy a wonderful afternoon on the greens while providing support for children in your community.
