I am April Steele, the Donors and Events coordinator of Child Link in Chicago, IL. Child Link is excited to announce its Annual Whiskey Tasting, scheduled for May 2, 2024. Guests are allowed to try exclusive pours of Burbon, Scotch and Rye during this 2-hour event. This event raises funds for our programs that provide essential support to youth in foster care. As part of the event, we will be hosting a silent auction featuring various goods and services. We would greatly appreciate your support by donating any service, good or gift certificate that we can include in the auction.  
Child Link is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, making any contributions tax deductible. 

What will funds be used for? 

Donated funds for children in foster care can provide crucial support for their well-being. These funds can help cover expenses related to their care in foster homes, such as basic needs, education and healthcare. Additionally, they can enable access to vital services like counseling support to address emotional and psychological needs, as well as funding for extracurricular activities which play a vital role in their social and emotional development. Overall, donation funds offer these children a better chance at stability, growth, and a brighter future!

Moreover, your support will be highlighted in a television slideshow displayed throughout the event, further amplifying your impact and recognition among attendees.
