Description

Dear CW Families, Friends, Neighbors, and Continuous Supporters;

We’re seeking products, goods, and services donations from businesses for our Annual Auction and Fundraiser to be held on May 11th, 2024.

The funds raised at this event directly benefit the children at our school in countless ways. We use the funds to enhance the children’s learning environments, take field trips, and provide our staff with continued training and education. Each of these benefits provides a deep and lasting impact on each child that we serve. Not only is donating a wonderful opportunity to support a local non-profit school, it is also a chance for you to reach a broad local audience who will see your goods and services on display at our annual Spring Auction as well as in our auction catalog. Larger sponsorship opportunities are available, should you be interested.

As you consider how you might contribute to our cause, here is some additional information about our school and community:

  • CW is the only AMI accredited Montessori school in the Long Lake/Orono Area.
  • Children’s Workshop’s mission fosters community, guides innate curiosity, and builds a foundation for a lifelong love of learning.
  • Our aim is to promote respect and responsibility to self, to others, and to the natural world.
  • Children’s Workshop is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization (Federal ID#41-1619315).
  • Our six Board of Trustees serves on a volunteer basis.
  • We are a member of the Caring for Kids Initiative, which provides scholarships to low income families in the Wayzata School District to attend quality early childhood education programs like CW.

We greatly appreciate anything you can do to support Children’s Workshop Montessori.

Sincerely,

Say Vang, Head of School
