Description

Second Harvest of the Greater Valley is overjoyed to welcome the community to our annual Chili Pot Cook-Off on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Join us as we continue to fill tummies and provide hope to our community. This year's event will be held at the Manteca Transit Center, 220 Moffat blvd. Manteca CA. Hunger has not stopped, in fact, it's more prevalent now than ever before with rapidly rising food costs, higher-than-average rents, and life in general. We continue to see increased demand for our services with no signs of them leveling out. Now more than ever, we need the support of our local business community.

The Chili Pot Cook-Off will support our summer feeding programs through Mobile Fresh and our school partners. More than 60,000 children in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties struggle with food insecurity. For many, we are the only link they have to food and the hope that it provides.

Our chili cook-off is a relaxed, family-friendly event that features delicious homemade chilies, a robust raffle, and a live auction. We thank you for your continued belief in our mission of shortening the distance between hunger and hope and look forward to this being a successful night of giving and partnership.
