The Flamborough Women's Resource Centre is a program within Interval House of Hamilton that provides support to women and children experiencing violence, abuse, and human trafficking within the rural areas of the Hamilton community. Because rural women experience unique barriers to accessing supports and escaping abuse, the Flamborough Women's Resource Centre fills an important gap in the Violence Against Women sector within the Greater City of Hamilton. The Flamborough Women's Resource Centre was this year's recipient of the Resilience Award from the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce's Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.

This year marks the 10th annual Chili Fest fundraiser in support of the incredible work being done at Flamborough Women's Resource Centre. Funds raised from the event will go directly towards supporting women and children in the rural Hamilton community through services such as group and individual counselling, employment support, securing affordable housing, and transitional support, to name a few. The main attraction at this fundraiser is a variety of chilis prepared from a number of local restaurants, and proceeds from the sales are donated to the Flamborough Women's Resource Centre. The event also includes a raffle and silent auction to further our fundraising efforts. We greatly appreciate any support you are able to offer!
