Chinese American Museum of Chicago 23rd Benefit Dinner
Gala/Party for Chinatown Museum Foundation/ Chinese American Museum of ChicagoMay 18, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
The Chinatown Museum Foundation is hosting its 23rd Benefit Dinner to raise funds for the Chinese American Museum of Chicago (CAMOC). Our theme this year is “Our Voices, Our Future”. It will be a night of full-course traditional Chinese banquet dinner, live performances, raffle prizes, silent auction, cash bar, live DJ, dancing, and more! We are anticipating 300 guests, and our fundraising goal is $50,000.
CAMOC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission of advancing the appreciation of Chinese American culture through exhibitions, education, and research, and preserving the past, present, and future of Chinese Americans primarily in the Midwest. As you may know, Illinois is the first state in the nation to require the teaching of Asian American history in public schools. As the only Chinese American museum in the Midwest, CAMOC proudly shared our community's stories with over 6,000 guests from June 2022 to May 2023.
As a non-profit, CAMOC relies solely on sponsorships, donations, and memberships to put on exhibitions and public programs. Your support in this event will go a long way to support our mission. This can be in the form of table reservations, full-color ads, sponsorships, or donations in kind for our raffle. The funds raised will go towards quality exhibitions and public programming. Your generosity will be recognized in our program book and at the benefit dinner.
Thank you for your consideration.
