On Monday, May 6, 2024, First Tee – Fresno will be hosting their largest fundraiser of the year, The Cinco de Mayo Charity Golf Tournament, to benefit the 32,000 children in the Central Valley, served by First Tee - Fresno. This will be our 61st year hosting this event and we hope our most successful yet. Our event contains two different means to raise funds for First Tee - Fresno. The first is the golf tournament itself. Second, we have a raffle and a silent auction in which we try to obtain a wide variety of donations to generate greater interest in the event to help raise more money. I am proud to say that last year’s event raised $30,000 to continue the good work of First Tee - Fresno.

First Tee of - Fresno is an amazing non-profit organization that teaches children aged 4-17 about the game of golf. In addition, they also teach valuable life skills that apply on and off the golf course. First Tee - Fresno turns no child away due to a family’s inability to pay. They also go to schools in underprivileged areas and work with organizations like the Boys and Girls Club to bring golf to children who may not get to experience the game otherwise. First Tee - Fresno also provides college scholarships to several high school kids each year. Funds raised in the Cinco de Mayo Charity Golf Tournament really impact what First Tee - Fresno can do for the kids throughout the year. Thank you in advance for your consideration of this donation.
