May 11, the Cooperative Nursery School is hosting our annual Spring Fling Fundraiser, this year with a circus theme! 

We'll have a live circus performance, popcorn, cotton candy, and hands-on circus activities for the kids to enjoy, in addition to a silent auction (for which we would welcome donations!). We are expecting over 300 families from around the Mt Airy and larger Philadelphia area, and all proceeds of the event go towards scholarship opportunities for students and improvement projects for the school. 

About our school: the Cooperative Nursery School seeks to establish an involved community of diverse families who work together. Through play and work, children develop a mastery and ownership of their learning by actively participating and collaborating within this inclusive community. Their curiosity and interactions lead to discovery, problem solving skills, and independence. Through communication, respect, love and empathy, children learn that they are valued members of the community and can practice equity and justice toward others. We encourage everything that helps keep our kids outdoors, climbing, running, and promotes their love of sustainability and nature!
