Spirit of Springfield
The Spirit of Springfield is a non-profit organization created more than 30 years ago to produce events that enhance the quality of life by providing people with a sense of community, civic pride and opportunities for celebration, and generate economic stimulation. Annually, the organization entertains more than 400,000 people with iconic events like Star Spangled Springfield, World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast, Bright Nights at Forest Park, Bright Nights 5K Road Race, and September 11th Remembrance Ceremony.
Goal
The goal for the gala is to raise money to support Spirit of Springfield efforts to bring free, family-friendly entertainment to the residents, neighbors, and visitors to our area (Springfield and Western Massachusetts).
Event
This year, The 2024 City of Bright Nights Ball will celebrate Bright Nights at Forest Parks 30th season in the Aria Ballroom at MGM Springfield. The black-tie only gala will feature elaborate décor throughout the reception area, a gourmet dinner, dancing as well as live and silent auctions. It has earned the reputation of being Springfield’s social event of the year.
Attendees
There will be more than 500 people attending the sold out gala. The guests will include state and local elected officials, the community’s corporate, and civic leaders as well as the top military and public safety officers.
