Description

Cleveland Elementary is a small public school with approximately 400 students located in Oakland, CA.  Our diverse and close-knit community is built around the shared values of inclusiveness and responsibility. The Cleveland student body is a wonderful representation of our broader community, a mix of Asian, African American, Latino, white and mixed race students.  50% of our students qualify for Title 1 support, and nearly 40% speak a language other than English at home.

After nearly 18 months of virtual learning, we are ecstatic to have our children back in their physical classrooms, learning from our talented teachers.  Fundraising during the pandemic has been difficult, but our schools' and students' needs for the programs and services provided by our PTA have not shrunk at all. The money raised by our PTA goes to supporting the school’s art, music and eco-literacy programs, and also funds our on-site tutoring services. 

This November 15 - December 3, Cleveland Elementary School will host its annual online fundraising auction.  We are looking for donations to include in the online auction.  All proceeds from the auction will go to the PTA to fund these critical programs.   

We are hoping that this year’s online auction is visited by our entire Cleveland community and beyond.  With your support, we aim to raise $15,000 to support the many programs that the PTA sponsors.
