The Climb, organized globally by PSI, is the world’s largest event that raises funds and awareness for the mental health of new families. Our mission is to bring resources and local support to survivors through fundraising and community-building. In Central VT, our Climb engages a broad cross-section of the population, including PMAD survivors and those whose loved ones are affected, medical providers, mental health professionals, birth professionals, and anyone whose work involves support for parents with new babies.  

Good Beginnings organizes the Central Vermont Climb each year in partnership with the Central Vermont Perinatal Mental Health Coalition. Our Climb helps perinatal families in Central Vermont build their village by connecting them to each other and to local resources and service providers. It also serves as a fundraiser for the Good Beginnings Postpartum Angel Family Support Program, which matches families with a community volunteer for in-home support during the postpartum period.
