Description

The CMU is a not-for-profit, human services agency that provides mental health, intellectual disability, and early intervention case management services to the residents of Dauphin County. As part of our agency’s mission, we assist people in achieving their goals, overcoming obstacles, and realizing their dreams.   Our staff works on a daily basis with individuals challenged by disabilities to enhance the quality of their life; promote their wellness; and to allow them to lead productive, successful lives within our community.

2022 marks another year that CoVid-19 has ravaged the livelihood of the individuals our agency serves. Each year CMU internally raises funds to provide a 30 lb. box of food as well as eggs, milk, fresh produce and a turkey to 275 individuals and families, serving almost 1,000 people of which approximately 400 are children. Food Insecurity continues to strike our population significantly, so providing these food boxes during the holiday season is imperative. We raise all the funds to provide these food donations through CMU’s Annual Food Basket Project’s Holiday Raffle.

We would greatly appreciate if your business would be willing to donate something to our raffle. Your contribution will allow us raise funds to support those suffering from mental illness and intellectual and developmental disabilities, and provide early intervention services throughout Dauphin County.

CMU is a not-for profit, 501(c)3 agency, your contribution would be tax deductible. Our Tax ID # is 25-1635351.

If you have any questions, would like to discuss this matter further, or need someone to pick up your contribution, please feel free to contact me at (717) 441-7031 or smumper@cmupa.org.  You can mail any gift certificates to CMU, 1100 S. Cameron Street, Harrisburg PA 17104, attention Sarah Mumper. On behalf of the Case Management Unit, thank you for your support of our community.
