Description

Established over 40 years ago, Coastal Pop Warner is a youth football and cheerleading
organization providing instruction to children from 5 to 15 years old in New Hanover, Pender and
Brunswick counties. Our cheerleaders are excited about the upcoming season and can not wait to
compete again this year. There is a lot to do to prepare and since Pop Warner is a nonprofit organization
we are always looking for new ways to raise funds. This year we will be having a quarter auction as one
of our fundraisers. We will be using the money raised to help pay for our practice space, uniforms and recetification of helmets for our teams safety. In order to make this fundraiser a success we are asking for help from our community
businesses as well as other companies.

We would appreciate any donation or donations that you can give to us, to help make this a
successful event. We are asking local businesses to please consider donating gift cards, gift certificates,
tickets, products or food to our auction. We are not asking for high value gift certificates, in fact $25 to
$50 gift certificates work best for this type of fundraiser. If you are interested in donating a higher
priced item or gift certificate that works too, as we will use it in our raffle section of our fundraiser. Our
emcee will announce your business, tell where it is located and announce any specials you may be
running. Basically, it is like having a little live commercial. We may also feature your business on our
social media advertisements for the auction. Our auction coordinator has a following of over 100
people and this will be a well advertised event, so we expect a great turnout. Donating will be a
wonderful way to show that you give back locally. Your kindness will not go unnoticed. You have the
added benefit of reaching local customers and gaining new interest in your business. Your donation is
tax deductible and we have included our tax ID number at the bottom of this letter, should you need it.
