Description

I'm reaching out from Long Island Bulldog Rescue.  We service the entire Northeast USA and have over 9000 members.  Our rescue takes in 300+ bulldogs a year and spend over $250,000 in veterinarian care each year.  Our organization has been in service since 1999, when we first took in only 13 dogs a year.  Due to the advance of breed popularity, many bulldogs are improperly breed and require excessive medical care, which leaves owners to surrender or abandon them.  Long Island Bulldog Rescue turns down no dog, no matter how severe the health concerns.  We are fully funded by donations and grants.  On December 7, 2018, we are having a fundraising event in NYC.  This is just one of many events we have throughout the year.  We are seeking sponsors, gift bag items and auction prizes.  All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501-3C.  If this is feasible, please contact me at kparkes@tplawny.com.  Check out our website and the attached for more information www.longislandbulldogrescue.org Our mission statement is listed below. As an example of what we do, I've attached a before and after picture of Linus.   As you can see Linus came into rescue severely neglected with a massive tumor on his lip.  This tumor made it extremely difficult for him to eat.  He was malnourished and unkempt.  With surgery to remove the tumor and care nursing him back to health (all paid for with donations made to Long Island Bulldog Rescue) he is now living the dream with his new family.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
