College-Age & Young Adult Event
Carnival/Festival for Faith Assembly of God of OrlandoAug 29, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Every Fall, The Voice, hosts a back-to-college event, where
we've seen over 1,000 young adults in attendance. Each attendee receives a "Fall Essential Kit," which is essentially a swag bag full of school/office supplies, snacks, coupons, and a copy of our annual Fall Guide (a printed publication).
The event itself is a three-week production that premieres on August 29 and continues the following two Sunday evenings. Our 2021 show is called, "Theme Song," and follows the storyline of a record store owner caught up in life's troubles, only to eventually be reminded once again of their purpose and love for music. On the premiere of this event, the live performance includes singing, dancing, and acting, followed by a free dinner for all attendees.
Doors open 1-hour before the event, and people hang out on our facilities for about 2 hours after the event, as our facilities has a Grill, Ice Cream Shop, Basketball Court, and Billiards Room, as well as a few other gathering places.
Projected Reach & Target Audience:
The Voice exists to provide a positive gathering place for young adults that provides hope and community in a drug and alcohol free environment.
For the 2021 event year, we're expecting 1,000 young adults. We're targeting students who attend UCF, Valencia, and Full Sail, as well as young couples and professionals looking for community.
