The annual Color Run at Holmes Elementary School provides critical funds for our reading intervention teachers! Because we hire retired teachers to work at hourly rates, we can fundraise to provide reading intervention to both primary and intermediate grades. Students are selected for this reading program through careful assessment, and each intervention cycle allows for new students to enter the program based on performance and the need for intervention. Reading is foundational to all learning, and because of this, becoming a partner with the Holmes Color Run is a great idea! Help support a diverse group of city students at this Title I School! We appreciate your support more than you can know!
