This year’s event is taking place on Saturday, May 4th in the Drendel Ballroom at Del Webb in Huntley. We anticipate a sold out event with 200 guests. This elegant evening will include cocktails, dinner, student performances, speeches, raffles, live & silent auctions and a plea fund. Our 1950’s theme “Come Fly With Me” is sure to be a memorable one, so we invite you to join us!

We launched this new classical, liberal arts school in the Catholic tradition in the Fall of 2022 with a group of 37 K-8 students. Now, in our second year, we have grown to 60 students and have moved into our own facility - a former public school building in Union!! We’ve also expanded our educational team with two new teachers, a new administrative team, specials teachers and the addition of preschool! Our robust plans continue!

Next fall we will be launching high school! Our academy is growing, and the dream for an educational option that is rooted in teaching truth, beauty and goodness is unfolding in our community! We are a parent-founded academy that is staffed by passionate educators and leaders who believe in building up the next generation of joyful, servant-leaders who recognize that there is truth in this world and a higher calling to how we live and interact with others.

Archangels Academy is a registered non-profit, so donations are tax deductible. Our students come from a wide geographic area including: Crystal Lake, Belvidere, Sycamore, Huntley, Marengo, Algonquin, Elgin, Hampshire, St. Charles, etc. Our needs have grown as we prepare to launch high school this fall; we must expand our staff and course offerings. Our annual gala is our single most important and impactful fundraiser for the academy.
