The Comedy Night will freature a performance by comedian Dave Reilly and will have a silent auction as well.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support Thames River Community Service which provides housing with support services to young adults who have been or are at risk of being homeless.  Our annual fundraising event is essential to being able to do the work we do throughout the year.  It is our hope you will be able to support our program with an event sponsorship or donation for our auction and joining us for a fun filled evening.

Parenting youth who have been homeless have unique needs.  Without individualized support services to help them retain permanent housing, they have an increased risk of returning to homelessness.  Young parents who have not had healthy adult role models and stable living environments do not learn basic life skills, which compromises their ability to achieve self-reliance and security for themselves and their children.

Family Support Services programming provides parenting skills assistance to ensure that the children in these young families have proper healthcare, have quality nutrition and are able reach appropriate developmental milestones within nurturing family environments.
