Dinner, comedy show, and silent auction fundraiser event to benefit the Natchaug River Young Marines.

We are a non profit organization with a primary focus of strengthening the lives of America's youth through education, building self-confidence, and teaching resilience.

Our organization cares for the well-being and development of children between the ages of 8 through the completion of high school and we support youth throughout the Northeast. The Young Marine organization promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of children and our program focuses on character building; leadership; and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

The Natchaug River Young Marines are involved in many community service events, helping Disabled Veterans and communities throughout our area. These children are very involved in their community and are learning to make a positive impact not only in the lives of others but also on their own. Although we are part of a national organization, we are self-funded and must raise money to continue to train our Young Marines in first aid; CPR; drug reduction; and for the basic necessities needed to run a youth organization.

Depending on our fundraising success, we would like to plan some activities which are not limited to: Washington, D.C., Battleship Cove,The Freedom Trail of Boston, whitewater rafting, camping and hiking trips. These events give our Young Marines the opportunity to develop their teamwork and leadership skills and encourage them to learn about the history of our country.
