The Rancho Bernardo Unit of Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary will host their 2nd annual fundraising event “Comedy Night For A Cause” on Saturday, October 5th, 2024. The event will feature clean comedians, auction items and catered “Southwest at its Best” dinner at the San Diego Oasis - Rancho Bernardo campus.

We are designating our net proceeds this year to the KidSTART Program at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. KidSTART is a unique program that serves children birth to 6-years-old with complex medical challenges, developmental and behavioral health needs.

KidSTART provides a specialized team of professionals based on the individual needs of the child and family. Members of the team include developmental and behavioral health clinicians, social workers, and psychologists. The team’s approach to services allows them to work together to create a custom treatment plan for children with multiple needs.

Central to the program’s success is each family is assigned a KidSTART Social Worker with extensive experience navigating complex systems of care; connects families to mental health resources to alleviate family stressors to enable a family to support their young children.
